Imagine coming up with a plan to get away with millions, but one mistake leads the cops right to you...

At one point Los Angeles, California was known as the "bank robbery capital of the world." In 1997, in downtown Los Angeles, a robbery took place that would go down as the largest cash money heist in American history. 

While the suspects tried to be careful in the planning of the robbery and spending of the money, it was really just a small mistake that led the cops to them.

but even today, years later, millions of dollars are still unaccounted for.
